GFTN-Malaysia
The GFTN-Malaysia, formerly known as Kumpulan Khazanah Hijau or KKH, was established as part of WWF's Global Forest & Trade Network (GFTN) initiative. The GFTN aims to eliminate illegal logging and improve the management of valuable and threatened forests.
GFTN-Malaysia was established by WWF-Malaysia to improve access to responsible markets as well as forest management in Malaysia. The Malaysia FTN promotes and creates links through business to business partnerships as well as between companies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
By raising consumer and corporate awareness about more responsible practices, the GFTN-Malaysia influences wood and paper procurement policies for the public and private sectors.
